2012-01-13 Sakalai do it easy at home

VILNIUS - Sakalai have remained at the top of Group B, defeating Rapla 87-64.
With a season-high 21 points Arvydas Gydra was able to ease his team home as Rapla continued to fade as the game progressed.
Picking up 10 points in the first quarter Sven Kaldre was keeping the game interesting, assuring his team would only be trailing by a point when the frame came to a close.
However in the second frame the home team would pull away to be leading by eight points at half time.
Both teams struggled offensively in the third quarter, collectively just scoring 20 points but the news was not good for Rapla who continued to full further behind.
Their would be no coming back in the final quarter as the home team eased the margin out, leaving Rapla languishing near the bottom of the table.
