SEB BBL All Star Game vote is open!
The voting for the SEB BBL All Star Game starting fives is open! All basketball fans are invited to vote for the starting fives of the Baltic Stars and the Foreign Stars teams.

The SEB BBL All Star Game, which will be held in Kaunas Arena on the February 3rd, 2007, will include number of spectacular performances:

Interview with S.Rich
One of the most valuable Barons’ players 34 year-old forward Stephen Rich plays second straight season in Riga’s club. 208 cm player is averaging 12,1 points, 8,1 rebounds and 1,8 block per game in the SEB BBL.



- How could you evaluate this season so far midway through?



- I think SEB BBL teams got stronger this season, they invited more good players on their squads and that makes the level of the competition higher. At this time there are more clubs that play equally against each other. Also, only one win can decide which way the team goes after the regular season.

Another two weeks past and we sit down to discuss the powers of the SEB BBL teams. Welcome to the fifth instalment of our fortnightly SEB BBL Team Ratings. 3 teams grew stronger, 7 remained unchanged and 4 teams weakened during the last two-week period. The biggest news: change at the very top of our Ratings. Regardless its clean 12-0 record, Zalgiris is no longer a top-rated team of the league. Another astonishing event: a 6-spot leap made by Panevezys. After falling all the way down to the 14th place, folks of the Upper Lithuania scrambled two wins in a row. Also, the all-time most assists in one game record (15) set by Tomas Gaidamavicius did not go unattended. The rest of the SEB BBL Team Ratings is for your judgement.

SEB BBL All Star Game 2005/2006
Last season SEB Baltic Basketball League staged its first All Star Game. The event was hosted in a newly built Arena Riga (capacity 12,500).



The first SEB BBL All Star Game featured Baltic vs. Foreign Stars Game, Slam Dunk Contest and a 3-Point Shooting Contest. Among the stars of the entertainment program were glamorous Red Foxes.
