Game day with Tomas Delininkaitis The lights go off, the music stars to sound and the public address announcer's voice roars?€¦ ?€?and now, yours, team players ?€¦?€? After a quick warm up the game starts and we all get to enjoy what we'd came for ?€“ the basketball show. Of course, introductions vary from city to city, also, the game entertainment is always different, but the main aspect is always the same ?€“ the match and the contest of beloved players. We only get to see them playing, but rarely get a chance to meet them outside of arena, let's say somewhere on a street or in a shopping mall. Ever wondered what those guys do when they are not playing, practicing or traveling abroad? I know I always wanted to know more about my favorite players. So today I'm presenting you, my beloved readers, reportage from game day activities of Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius player Tomas Delininkaitis. You get an exclusive opportunity to see what the SEB BBL player usually does on a game day.

Interview with M.Mockus Mindaugas Mockus, 194 cm guard of Neptunas Klaipeda team is not the main figure on his team now, but some years ago he was averaging 19,5 points per game. After spending few seasons abroad, he decided to come back to Klaipeda. However, things are not going well for Mockus as he scored just 1 point in 8 Lithuanian and Baltic basketball league's games. 26-year-old player isn't injured and it's hard to explain such a downfall. Neptunas' coach Robertas Kuncaitis couldn't answer this question precisely. ?€?He isn't worth to play a lot. We're all waiting for him to be able to contribute. There was a different situation a few years ago. The team did lack improvisation and Mindaugas could actually do whatever he wanted with the ball. Right now we play team basketball, which is more strict. That's obviously not handy for him.?€?

Interview with V.Sirvydis Last week another Lithuanian basketball veteran came back to play in his native country. 33 years Virginijus Sirvydis has joined Panevezys' squad. 196 cm guard spent last 6 years playing in various foreign clubs. Through his career, Sirvydis has collected some quality titles: he's a Russian, NEBL, Cyprus champion and LKL third place winner. Last season V.Sirvydis played in AEL Limasol (Cyprus) club and become the champion of Cypriot league. However, he doesn't mention his last team with a good word. - Virginijus, the new season has started for you just in November. What you've been doing before that? - I've been lightly doing some exercises individually and waiting for news from Cyprus. I still had a contract with AEL club and they owe me a fair amount of money, so it happened that while waiting i was left with nothing. My shape is not the best yet. - Why you have decided to choose Panevezys' club? - Well known coach works here while the team offered a good contract and the circumstances were really good. The town of Panevezys is like my second homeland as a lot of relaives lives here.

SEB BBL Team Ratings (III) All right folks, two weeks pasted and it is time to rate the teams. A relatively calm and a more or less predictable period that was. Wouldn't you agree? Stronger teams separated themselves from the pack, weaker made themselves comfortable (if that is any possible, of course) on the bottom. However, the middle bunch is still very much boiling, thus, providing us with a variety of great games. Short stats: 6 teams stayed put, 4 ?€“ climbed up, 4 ?€“ slid down. Barons/LMT and Nevezis were the authors of the biggest jumps. Each increased their ratings by two spots. Meantime Kalev/Cramo suffered the deepest drop ?€“ from the 9th and out of the Top-10 all the way to the 12th.
