For the first time before the regular season there will be played a two-day tournament – SEB BBL Presidents Cup. Main goal of the tournament is to popularize best Baltic basketball teams and their players. Schedule of the tournament: 10th of September – draw of SEB BBL Presidents Cup 27th of September – semi-finals of SEB BBL Presidents Cup in Arena Riga 28th of September – finals of SEB BBL Presidents Cup in Arena Riga During the tournament there will be the opening enterprise of SEB BBL 2008/09 season and basketball tournament for the media representatives of the Baltic States.
