2008-01-30 14:11:00 estonian Last game Pirita almost lost to the 10th place group. And Triobet/Dalkia has just played less than Pirita, so you cant tell anything about who will get 3rd and so on. And for all: this here`s BBL site. Others dont care about our Pirita`s and other groups. Let`s keep talking about BBL things, ok? :)
2008-01-30 11:08:00 to estonian I´m pretty sure that Pirita will get bronze this year, they don´t play in BBL, but they are stronger than Triobet. Joosep Pokla, born in 1986, is the talent of Pirita, and one of the best young players in Estonaia. Triobet will propably finish 4th this season. If Triobet would have more budget and they would have bought solid PF and some veteran to backcourt, then they would be very good in Challenge Cup.
2008-01-30 01:07:00 news Zalgiris signed Croatian damir Markota.
2008-01-29 22:01:00 estonian I have no idea. And if I`m right, then last season in Estonian league Fausto was 3rd. But definitely 3rd or 4th. They had the bronze-place battle between Dalkia/Nybit (last season name). But this season im pretty sure Triobet/Dalkia will get 3rd place.
2008-01-29 20:41:00 aaa btw, whats the situation with Vaškys? When he's expected to come back?
2008-01-29 20:33:00 estonian Those big losses to Nevežis and Sakalai were because of the leader men were injured and others didnt play good at all. But todays game is just terrible.

what i'm the most amazed about, is that Müürsepp has still got plenty of offers from the top clubs of europe. He said that two of the offers were from Girona Akasvayu and Efes Pilsen Istanbul..

i think it just shows the level of BBL, there are no weak teams and easy picnics for big clubs

Kalev hasn't really showed its potential. The management couldn't complete the roster well - many players has been sent home. The players didnt have bad backgroud, but they just didn't fit in Kalev. (Marlon Parmer was training with Minnesota Timberwolves, Nate Johnson had good spell in Italy) It looks like players have some problems with coach Matic aswell. The injuries have been affecting Kalev aswell: every player I think has had an injury and at the moment Travis Reed is still injured. Kalev is using only like 60-70% of its potential. Next year HAS TO BE better as I am quite sure there will be clear-out and Matic will be sent home. The club really trys to resign Travis Reed. The club already got contracts with Valmo Kriisa and Rait Keerles. Kristjan Kangur will stay in Kalev if he doesn't get decent offer from some European club. The club signed contract with Martin Müürsepp, ex-NBA and ex-CSKA guy who is still quite valued in Europe as he had offers from Spanish and Turkish club, but he wanted to stay at home, Kalev. I believe that Kalev could make some head-ache to bigger clubs next year, if we could get decent american guard.

So Kalev has lost with 1 point to Žalgiris and now 2 Rytas also. Amazing: is the 7th place club really that uncomfortable to our giants? And I have 2 confess that I am 1 of those who said that Estonian clubs will do nothing much in BBL, but I have 2 eat my words now. They can make our men sweat, but still Rytas is best!
2008-03-22 18:52:00 to rytas
yeah. you are right. Kalev had the chance to win the game, but Kangur missed the tap-in in last seconds.
