An even game could be seen only for the first 15 minutes. During this time the lead changed many times and none of the teams wanted to give up. However, during the last 7 minutes of the first half Liepajas Lauvas was able to score only 1 point while VEF Riga scored 14 at the same time.

In the second half Liepajas Lauvas was not able to change the situation on the field and VEF Riga gradually increased their dominance. The home team VEF Riga won with the result 76:59.
