Valmiera got a lead in the first quarter of the game but was not able to hold it and Siauliai celebrated victory with the result 75:87 (23:17, 17:26, 12:24, 23:20).

The start of the game was rather equal as and the result perfectly showed it as it was in balance few times. Siauliai got a lead of 5:7 but then team Valmiera with the help of Clark, Poznaks and Ziedins scored 9 points in a row making the result 14:7 in the favour of the hosts. Next on Bankevics was the guy who scored plenty for Valmiera and with his help Valmiera got a lead of 23:12. However till the end of the first quarter Siauliai decreased the lead of Valmiera. The result after the first quarter was 23:17 Valmiera being ahead of the game.

In the beginning of the second quarter team Siauliai was on fire as they outperformed Valmiera 12:0 making the result 25:31 in their favour. Further on Valmiera played a little bit better and diminished the lead of Siauliai till the minimum 34:35. The end of the quarter was equal again and before the big break Siauliai had three point lead 40:43. In the first half of the game Bankevics had scored already 19 points for team Valmiera being a true leader for them.

After the half-time Siauliai with the team effort continued to increase their lead as they made a run of 11:0 making the result 40:54 in the favour of team Siauliai. Next on with the help of Amolins and Poznaks Valmiera regained five points but then again Siauliai answered with the same and even increased their lead. The result at this moment was 47:62 Siauliai being in front. Further on Amolins realized his third three-pointer in the game and gave some hopes for Valmiera but then again it was lost as Slezas and Vileita again renewed the bigger lead for their team and made the result 52:67.

In the final ten minutes Valmiera needed to come back, however the beginning of the fourth quarter did not looked like that as Siauliai did not let to decrease the difference in the result. After Bankevics three-pointer it was 58:70 but then Siauliai increased their lead till plus 16 points. But then Ziedins and Bankevics organized a shooting contest from beyond the arc and made the result 64:76 in the favour of team Siauliai. Further on Siauliai controlled the game and two minutes before the end of the fourth quarter it was still plus14 points to team Siauliai 68:82. In the final two minutes Valmiera was not able to break the way of the game and Siauliai won the whole match with the result 75:87.
