ASK Riga showcased what the second game of the first round in the play-offs mean as the Latvians got a big revenge against Siauliai 61:44 on the road and will play the decisive third game of the series.

During the first quarter both teams fought equally, but ASK Riga took the initiative at the end of it and got a bit bigger lead. However, Siauliai cut their deficit to 2 points, but the guests won this period by 5 points - 19:14.

ASK Riga enlarged its lead to 9 points early in the second quarter, while Siauliai appeared scoreless. Just a couple possessions after that Marius Runkauskas launched a three-pointer to give his team the lead in double figures for the first time all game long - 28:17. Yet, the guests did not capitulate too early and fused their deficit to just a minimal one as Saulius Kuzminskas connected a jumper with just 36 seconds left to play in the first half - 27:28. Players went to the locker-rooms as the scoreboard showed 27:31 up by ASK Riga.

Siauliai once again came closer when Stefhon Hannah made a lay-up (31:33), but the guests ran away and kept the distance for a long time. They regained the lead in double figures, while the quarter ended 37:45.

Siauliai faced difficulties scoring against the opponents and could not make a single basket in 4 minutes of play in the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, ASK Riga took a full advantage of that by scoring 7 straight points. The difference between teams became 20 points, when  Uvis Helmanis made a free throw (53:39). The rest of the time was just a formality.

Ernests Kalve scored 15 points and had 8 rebounds for the winners, U.Helmanis added 14 points. S.Hannah and Mindaugas Kuzminskas (7 rebs.) both had 12 points for Siauliai.
