Antanas Sireika  stepped down as a head coach of Lietuvos Rytas. Both parties decided to part ways after a couple of relevant losses. A.Sireika coached the Vilnius team for less than 7 months.

The new coach of the team will be Rimas Kurtinaitis, who recently has been working on Asseco Prokom (Poland) team as a consultant for head coach.

The next two games Lietuvos Rytas will play against Valmiera on the 13'th of this month and over Rock on 23'rd.
