Zalgiris Kaunas appeared blank for 38 minutes of the game against Nevezis Kedainiai on the road, but concentrated when it got down to business time and sealed a 63:61 victory home.

Zalgiris started the game better and got 9:2 lead after a basket by Mantas Kalnietis. However, Darius Silinskas tied the score at 9:9 with less than three minutes to play in the first quarter. Valdas Dabkus made one free throw out of two to finish this period trailing by three points - 10:13.

Nevezis outbalanced the score early in the second quarter by scoring 4 points without an answer (14:13) and had the lead for the majority of time until the halftime. Zydrunas Stankus was extremely active in the paint by penetrating to the basket almost at will. More than 2 minutes left in this quarter Povilas Sakinis nailed a three-pointer to make it already an 8-point game - 28:20. Players went to the locker-rooms as the result was 33:26.

In the third after a lay-up and a foul by Aidas Viskontas Nevezis built a double-digit advantage for the first time in this game - 36:26. The underdogs of this game controlled the tempo for the rest of this period and finished it leading 48:43.

Zalgiris was able to cut the deficit to 3 points, but Nevezis regained the possession and re-built its advantage in double digits - 59:48. A.Viskontas played magnificent basketball during that stretch. 16 seconds left in a game Zalgiris was up by three points, but Benas Veikalas made two free throws and cut the gap to two points - 61:62. A turnover by Darius Silinskis was crucial as it did not allow the host to fight for a victory. Meanwhile, Dainius Salenga scored one point at the tripe to freeze the 6'th victory.

Loren Woods (13 rebs.) and Dainius Salenga were the top scorers out of Zalgiris with 15 points apiece. A.Viskontas collected 14 for Nevezis, B.Veikalas added 13.
