Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius had a tough game at home over Nevezis Kedainiai, but escaped with a 92:87 win, which was their 12'th of the season.

The guests opened a game a bit better and had minimal lead for the most part of the first quarter. More than 2 minutes left to play in this period Valdas Dabkus scored a two-pointer and result was 16:13 up by Nevezis. After the first quarter it was 8 points game - 23:15 up by the guests.

However, unbeliavable effort by Lietuvos Rytas in the second period outweighed the score quite quickly. 4 minutes left until the halftime Stepas Babrauskas nailed a three-pointer and the score became 33:30 up by Lietuvos Rytas. Marijonas Petravicius made an easy lay-up to finish a 10:0 run - 35:30. Nevezis couldn't stop Rytas' run and players went to the locker-rooms as the hosts led 46:34.

In the third quarter Lietuvos Rytas increased the gap to a huge 20 points lead - 56:36, but Nevezis did not resist and continued to pressure the ball and that gradually payed off as the difference between teams became 10 points, when Povilas Sakinis made a basket. After three periods it was 72:61 up by the hosts.

Things got tighter when Nevezis was able to reduce the deficit to 4 points - 76:80. Both teams appeared to be nervous. Less than 3 minutes to play Darius Silinskis dunked the ball to the hoop and the score became 83:86. Nevezis was able to cut it to 1 point but Lietuvos Rytas executed things the right way, made free throws and closed the game out.

Chuck Eidson had a great all-around performance with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 blocked shots, Mindaugas Lukauskis added 14 points. Valdas Dabkus poured 28 points and 6 rebounds in a loss.
