Ullar Kerde resigned from the head coach position of the TU/Rock, the club announced. Indrek Visnapuu, the former player and recent assistant coach of TU/Rock took over the position.  "Kerde was given a vacation for one month," said Riho Illak, the chief of Tartu University sports club, "After that we'll make him a new offer."

The news was announce a day after TU/Rock suffered 58:80 home loss from CSK-VVS Samara in FIBA EuroChallenge.

Newspaper Ohtuleht has claimed that the reason for Kerde's resignment might be his harsh criticism over the disciplinary problems of club's leading players.
