Q. What is the goal of the team in SEB BBL Elite Division Final Four Tournament?

A. We have set a goal to win this tournament.

Q. Are Zalgiris preparing just for the game against Rock? Or are they preparing to play against other teams as well (Lietuvos Rytas and ASK Riga)?

A. Right now we are preparing to play just with the team Tartu Rock. We are analyzing their games and watching game videos.

Q. Team Zalgiris has already met team Rock twice this season. At home Zalgiris got a victory 91:64 and on the road a win as well 67:76. Are Zalgiris going to play as they played in these games or are there prepared any new special approach against Rock? Some surprise for them?

A. Tartu Rock deserves full respect for what they did in the play-off games as they won their principal rivals Kalev/Cramo on the road game. We are preparing very seriously for that game. Additional pressure is that Tartu Rock is going to play in their home arena.

Q. What are the main reasons why Zalgiris are playing very well lately?

A. Serious attitude towards the opponents. The inner situation in the club has been improving lately. Additionally players have got very good preparation and right now are in a very good shape.

Q. How would you evaluate this season so far in SEB BBL Elite Division for Zalgiris?

A. Season, of course, has not finished yet. At this moment it is hard to evaluate. After SEB BBL and Lithuanian league games we will be able to evaluate it.

Q. What is the financial situation in the club at the moment?

A. Right now it seems stabilized but we are still searching for a strong supporter for the upcoming seasons.

Q. Has the level of the SEB BBL risen during this season?

A. At the beginning of the season the level was really high with extra class players on the rosters of the teams. However, further on there were changes due to financial matters in teams ASK Riga and Zalgiris. Estonians were able to hold the level very high during the whole season. I think teams participating in Final Four really have deserved it and they have shown that level of SEB BBL is high.

Q. Is there any injured player in the team right now?

A. Eurelijus Zukauskas got an injury in the quarter final game in Lithuanian League and he did not play yesterday (interview was held on the 21st of April) but he will be ready to play till Friday. Some players have small injuries but at the end of the season it is quite normal.

Q. How many Zalgiris fans are going to attend Final Four tournament?

A. At this moment I unfortunately do not have such information.
