Q. In play-off games ASK Riga had a home loss against Siauliai, then followed road and home win. What would be the main reasons for such unstable play?

A. In the first game we had problems with the defence. At the beginning of the second game these problems continued but then we managed to overcome them. Further on there were no problems in defence and it gave results in offence. In the third game we controlled the game and pushed Siauliai to play our game.

Q. What is the goal of the team in SEB BBL Elite Division Final Four Tournament?

A. To win the tournament.

Q. Are ASK Riga preparing just for the game against Lietuvos Rytas? Or are they preparing to play against other teams as well (Zalgiris and Rock)?

A. At the moment we are preparing for the game against Lietuvos Rytas but we are planning to watch videos with the participation of Zalgiris and Rock as well.

Q. Team ASK Riga has already met team Lietuvos Rytas twice this season. On the road ASK Riga got a victory 76:79 but at home there was a loss 87:108. After these two games have you analyzed what are the aspects team ASK Riga still can improve?

A. Yes, there are things to improve all the time. However, at this moment we are setting our focus on the improvement of defence.

Q. Are there prepared any special approach against Lietuvos Rytas? Some surprise for them?

A. I think there is nothing new or surprising we can offer to such great and experienced team as Lietuvos Rytas. They have just qualified to Euroleague and it really means something. We are going to play slowly, work in defence and save our energy till the end of the game.

Q. What is the financial situation in the team right now?

A. At the moment it is more or less stable.

Q. How would you evaluate this season so far in SEB BBL Elite Division for ASK Riga?

A. If we look at the background of the team we are still losing players almost every month. Taking into account these aspects I think the team has done very good job this season. We are seven players and we have ensured second place in the regular season of Latvian League and qualified for SEB BBL Final Four.

Q. Are all the players ready for the game against Lietuvos Rytas or are there any injured player in the team right now?

A. Everyone is ready to show their best effort. No injuries and good condition and motivation.

Q. How many ASK Riga fans are going to attend Final Four tournament?

A. I do not know particular number but I would like to say big thanks to all our fans. They really have helped us during this season.
