Interview with a guard of team Valmiera was held after he was named the MVP in October in SEB BBL Elite Division.
- What are your feelings after you have been named the MVP in October in SEB Baltic Basketball League?
- Well, it’s an honour to achieve such great results and it makes me work harder and be a better player all the time.
- What are your living conditions here in Valmiera and do you like to live in Latvia?
- It’s definitely different here if compared to the USA. Latvia is a nice country, weather is not bad here and I am very satisfied with the living conditions.
- You know last season in team Valmiera played a guy Vladimir Stimac. He won the monthly MVP titles in SEB BBL two times in a row in October and November and finally at the end of the season he was named the MVP of the regular season. Do you think you could repeat his achievements?
- Achievements of the team of course comes as the first ones but now this is a goal to me – a personal one. This makes me try even harder and work a lot more.
- Did team Valmiera had some celebrations after the historic victory over the mighty Lithuanians Kaunas Zalgiris and what where the atmosphere in the team?
- Everybody was really happy about the win. You know, it is not that you can win a team like that every day but it was a nice feeling anyway.
- Let’s talk about the future forecasts. Which place would you forecast for the team Valmiera in the SEB BBL at the end of the season?
- It’s difficult to say. We will definitely strive for the highest possible position and try to play at the highest level. Additionally, we will try to stay competitive all season long and then at the end of it we will see in which position team finishes.
