After receiving the MVP award for the month of October we asked Janis Strelnieks for an interview to tell about himself, team Ventspils and other issues.

BC Kalev/Cramo led for the whole game, then survived Siauliai's strong come-back and won an important game 85:79 (45:40). Charron Fisher led the winners with 18 pts and 13 rbs.

It was a close game in the final quarter as well.   And this quarter started better for Lauvas, as  Kravcenko and Patmalnieks made a three-pointer. The result was 55:57 (8min.)and the game could be started again.

Lietuvos Rytas in the third quarter was losing by ten points but managed to come back. In an overtime Lietuvos Rytas appeared to be better and they could celebrate a victory with the result 89:93 (23:25, 18:14, 22:25, 13:12, 13:17)

In the first half of the game Valmiera got a lead of eleven points. It was enough to hold a victory. The final result of the game was 88:74 (22:17, 25:19, 18:19, 23:19).

Ventspils managed to get a solid lead already in the first quarter of the game. Further on Ventspils players precisely controlled the game and never let VEF Riga to even think of a victory. The final result of the game was 77:53 (30:14, 18:12, 20:23, 9:4) in the favour of team Ventspils.

TU/Rock visited their Estonian archrival BC Kalev/Cramo and won the do-or-die game 78:72. Janar Talts and Scott Morrison led the winners with 17 points.

Ventspils continued to play in a high tempo in the second quarter. The guests scored 8 points without answer and after 2 minutes  in the second quarter had 8 points lead (21:29). Ventspils played good in offensive and therefore maintained the lead (26:31, 7min.).

No.13 of Ventspils, Janis Strelnieks nailed a difficult three-pointer with 1.2 seconds and handed TU/Rock their fourth loss. Ventspils won 78:77 (36:42).
