Siauliai in Vilnius gave some competition to Lietuvos Rytas, but the guests in the second part of this game could not hold the offensive pressure made by Vilnius team. The final result was 99:77 in the favour of team Lietuvos Rytas.

The hosts had a  strong start. They began the match literally on fire as they ran away, while the first quarter ended 29:18  up by Lietuvos Rytas.   Players went to the locker-rooms when the scoreboard showed 58:34.

The opening Elite division  game in Kedainiai started with Martynas Gecevicius, Dejan  Borovnjak and Aron Baynes points – 8:2 by Lietuvos rytas. But later the game was equal, both teams had problems with scoring their points. Last two minutes in the first quarter was played really good by the team Nevezis as they came ahead - 13:12.  It promised an interesting second half of the game.

Entertaining  game and intrigue  until final siren  - so lovely was the BBL Cup final game in Kaunas (09.26) between Zalgiris Kaunas and Lietuvos rytas Vilnius. BBL vice-champions after big fight has won the  battle and first tittle in this season by Zalgiris.
