Valmiera was in front by 12 points, however the ending of the game turned out to be nervous and team Ventspils ensured a tough victory in the final minutes with the result 54:57 (16:13, 13:13, 14:12, 11:19).

The result grew on equally in the first quarter of the game as after five minutes of playing it was 9:9. Soon after that the new player Jamaal Tatum for the team Ventspils came on to the field. Further on again the game continued to go on equally and none of the teams got a significant lead. After the first quarter the result was 16:13 in the favour of team Valmiera.

After the first ten minutes Valmiera made a small run and already was in front by seven points 20:13. Further on Valmiera continued to play confidently and managed to increase their lead 27:15 thus gaining the biggest lead in the game. Further on team Ventspils came back in the game and scored valuable points. After the first half Valmiera was still leading the game 29:26.

In the third quarter of the game Valmiera ensured a little run and got a lead of 35:28. It still seemed to very promising as Ventspils managed to diminish the lead of team Valmiera till just minus two points 35:33. But then again in the next episodes Valmiera showed a character and renewed the eight point lead 43:35. The third quarter ended up when the result was 43:38 Valmiera being in front.

The beginning of the quarter promised intrigue as Ventspils decreased the lead of Valmiera till minimum 43:42. Further on Valmiera once again gained a bigger lead 49:44 but then it was time for Ventspilsto show their strength. Ten points in a row for them and the positions on the field already had changed – 49:54 Ventspils in front. Further on it was a fight with the free-throws in which Ventspils managed to hold their positions and celebrated a road victory 54:57.
