Tartu Rock starting from the first minutes took the game in their hands. The first quarter lead was increased further on and Rock could celebrate a victory thus taking the fourth place in the tournament table. The final result of the game was 60:85 (9:20, 20:24, 19:19, 12:22).


Starters: Liepajas Lauvas – Kisielius, Kojenats, Vilums, Jeromanovs, Ansons
Rock – Tein, Abernethy, Doronin, Talts, Morrison


In the first minutes of the game Liepajas Lauvas was able to keep up with the pressure of Rock as after three minutes of play the result was 5:6 Rock being ahead. But then Rock showed the power and made a run of 0:11 and the result was already 5:17. Till the end of the quarter nothing really changed and Rock hold their lead. It was 9:20 after the first ten minutes.


In the second quarter of the game Liepajas Lauvas continued to dominate. They confidently controlled the way of the game and increased their lead. In the middle of the quarter Rock led the game by 15 points. Further on they did not let Liepajas Lauvas to come closer in the result and finished the first half of the game with the same 15 point lead.


After the big break there were no signs of changes in the game. Rock continued to play their game. After five minutes of playing the result was 40:54 Estonians being ahead. Before the final ten minutes Tartu Rock had plus 15 points 48:63.


The last ten minutes started with a little hope for Liepajas Lauvas as they came as close as 54:65 but that was all they could do. Rock again made a run of 0:17. And that was it. Plus 28 points – the biggest lead in the game and the winner was clear. The result at that moment was 54:82. The final result of the game not less impressive for the Estonians – 60:85.
