It was up-and-down battle in Siauliai, but Zalgiris appeared better on crunch time and reached the first victory of the season on the road over local Siauliai  88:80.

Not equal battle prevailed  in the first quarter, after first minutes of play Siauliai had a lead by 10 points  - 15:5. The quarter was finished also with big Siauliai advantage  - 34:16 .

Midway through the second period Zalgiris outbalanced the result in the Kaunas team favour . Zalgiris players made couple shots at the charity stripe and made the score tied at 46:47 just before the halftime.

In the beginning of the third quarter  both teams showcased good execution on the offensive end of the floor and finished this period with close even equally  -  69:62 by Zalgiris.

In the fourth  and critical quarter Zalgiris was a little more stronger then Siauliai and did not allow the opponents to made  a victorious scenario. After hard fight Zalgiris celebrated they win with result 88:80.
