In an interesting game Lietuvos rytas at home defeated Kalev/Cramo and has extended their winning streak. The final result of the game was 97:74.

Top scorers:

Lietuvos rytas: S.Babrauskas 24, B.Popovic (9 asissts) and  A.Baynes  -  16.
Kalev/Cramo: C.Fisher 21 (16 rebs), R..Keerles 15, T.Sokk and  J.Akognon  -  12.

The game in Vilnius started with a Lietuvos rytas  run (5-0), but the guests not scared and answered with same arguments (7:7). Later Kalev/Cramo was very good on the perimeter, so Lietuvos rytas had many problems to stop their sniper (13:16).  But not for long. At the end of this quarter a little stronger was Lietuvos rytas, they did less mistakes and was more accurate – 26:21.

In  the second quarter Kalev/Cramo  was able   to equalize the result (28:28), but then Lietuvos rytas, with Steponas Babrauskas and Bojan Popovic good performance, came back in this game, as the result was 34:28. After Aron Baynes dunk, Lietuvos rytas had a 8 points advantage. But it was not important, because C.Fisher collected 6 points in a row, T.Sokk added  couple points and difference between teams was only 1 point (36:35).  But until big break Lietuvos rytas showed character and took initiative. After second quarter Vilnius team was in front by 7 points  - 51:44.

After big break Lietuvos rytas seemed more fresh. A.Baynes has made another dunk, S.Babrauskas added 3-pointer  and Vilnius team got double-digit advantage (65:44).  The hosts  not relaxed  and increased their lead until 17 points – 65:48.  But Kalev/Cramo did not give up and until the end of this quarter has reduced their deficit  - 75:65.

In the final quarter Lietuvos rytas did not let to restore the intrigue in this game. Lietuvos rytas not only retained the safe advantage, but also  increased it. As always, Lietuvos rytas showed big desire to win. It was the 5th victory for Lietuvos rytas in this BBL Elite Division season.
