Journalists and media representatives have made their choice and set the MVP of MasterCard BBL Elite Division in February and it is Kenan Bajramovic from Lietuvos Rytas.  In February Bajramovic on average scored 18,7 points per game. This entered him among the top four best scorers in February. Moreover Bosnian collected 7,3 rebounds per game. What is not typical for the forwards Kenan Bajramovic on average made 4,7 assists per game. And the most surprising – it is the third best result in MasterCard BBL Elite Division in February. But that is not all about Kenan as he made 1,7 steals on average during three games as well. On average Bajramovic was the most efficient player in February in Elite Division – he collected 26,7 effectiveness points.

What are the first impressions of being named the MVP of February in MasterCard BBL Elite division?Is this nomination important for you?

Of course, it is important, because I tried to play good, I tried to Lietuvos rytas win every game. Therefore, I  have achieved such a personal results. It is good example for me.  I must try to win every game, then everything will be fine.

Not long ago you have joined the team Lietuvos rytas, but from the first games you became one of the most important players . How you did this?

How I did this (smiles)? I dont know...I  just came to the team  and  trying  to play. This is my job - play in that way.  

You have played for Lietuvos rytas in 2007/08 season. What have you found in Lietuvos rytas after one season?  What are your impressions about new teammates?

The team is younger than when I played. When I played, were more experienced players. Now I am one of the oldest players in the team. Such  the  difference is.

What do you think about Lietuvos rytas coach Rimas Kurtinaitis?

He is a good coach. I see, how he prepares us for every game . I think he is very good. Whether he believes in me? You have to ask the coach - he believes in me or not. I trying to do my best in the court.

What basketball element do you like most?

I like everything.  Mostly I like to win.

You have made almost 5 assists per game in the last BBL games, what  is not typical for the forward. This is one of your  secret weapons?

No. Just  the opponets doubled  on me in the game, two players was on me, so, I tryed to find  the open guy. When some one double on you,  one of  the five  players  is free.  It is necessary to find him.  So, I did it and Lithuianian guys were accurate from the perimeter.  

Lietuvos rytas has won first tittle (Lithuanian Cup) in this season already. How do you think, is Lietuvos rytas strong enough to defend LKL and BBL championships?

Yes, we won the cup and this is great. But the wins  in LKL and BBL will not be easy, sure, we will try to do it. But  it will be very hard. We will see, who will be happy at the end of the season.  

What do you think about BBL level  in general?

A little weaker than I played.  Because  now is the crisis, the teams have less money.  Most of the players are local,   there are a few of foreigners.  But it‘s OK to play in BBL, I think.

And what do you think about Lietuvos rytas biggest opponent Zalgiris?

Zalgiris  is the same. There are good players, but not always the good team wins. I think that the most important to have a good strategy. And one more thing - the mentality of the player. If you do not want to win, never win.

And the last question: how do you feel  now, when you are playing for  Lietuvos rytas?

I'm happier  here than in ALBA.  A lot ...
