In the second quarter of the game Ventspils got a lead and managed to keep it till the end of the game. The final result was 83:72 (21:21, 20:14, 23:19, 19:18).

At the start of the game Ventspils got a lead by a few points. It went on till the result was 9:7 in the favour of team Ventspils. Then Estonians scored six points in a row as Dorbek and Akognon both scored from beyond the line. The result was 9:13 already Kalev/Cramo being in front of the game. In the next episodes Ventspils answered with a six point run and took over the lead 15:13. Two minutes before the end of the first quarter it was equal 19:19. Then followed a couple of missed shots by both teams but in the end this quarter finished with the result 21:21.

Second quarter started with missed shots but then Bertans scored a three pointer making the result 24:21 – the hosts leading the game. Next on with the help of Blaus, Jurevicus and Bertans Ventspils got a lead of eight points – 32:24. Further on it moved point in point and Ventspils managed to keep the difference in the result around eight points. Two minutes before the big break it was 38:30. But then Kalve added three points and Ventspils got a biggest lead – plus 11. The ending of the first half was played better by Estonians and the result after the first twenty minutes was 41:35.

After the big break Ventspils played well in offence and made few impressive baskets after great team cooperation. When the result was 50:40 Kalev/Cramo was forced to take a time-out. In the next episodes Ventspils got a lead of plus 13 points and controlled the game. This quarter was finished with the result 64:54.

The final ten minutes again was full of missed shots and the result grew slowly. Kalve cheered-up the spectators with an effective dunk and the result was 67:56. Further on both teams exchanged the shots. After five minutes of playing in the final quarter it was 73:64. Next on Ventspils even increased the difference in the result thus taking away any doubts about the winner in this game. A minute before the final whistle it was 83:68. But the final result was 83:72 Ventspils celebrating a victory.
