It was the very close game, but the guest managed to concentrate in the last quarter and that allowed Latvian team outclass the hosts from Lithuania 77:79

The beginning of the game was very good for the hosts, because  after 6 minutes of play in the first quarter Nevezis led 8:1. After S.Valters three-pointer the guests came closer and in the middle of this quarter the result was 14:9. Later on the Latvian started to play more aggressive in the offence and Nevezis had a lot of problems.  The first period ended 24:27 up by VEF.

The second  quarter was similar to the first. Both teams showed desire to win, so, the fight was very persistent.  In the middle of this quarter, after D.Gvezdauskas three-pointer,  the result was 35:36 up by VEF. Later on P.Beliavicius added two-pointer  and Nevezis was  in front again – 37:36.  
However, VEF continued making rational plays.  A.Renfroe has made a dunk shot and the result was 45:42 up by Nevezis. At the end of this quarter S.Valters scored two-pointer and players went to the locker-rooms as the scoreboard showed 45:44.

VEF started  with a slippery lead early in the third period, because of good play  of  T.McCullough. He scored 4 points without the answer and the guests was in front by  3 points  - 45:48.  Later on G.Jahovics added two-pointer (45:50).  In the middle of this quarter VEF was still in front, but Nevezis  was quite near (54:58).  The score was even at 61:61, when E.Dimsa realized two free throws. T.Rakauskas  made two free throws  to finish this quarter 66:63 up by Nevezis.

After 5 minutes of play in the fourth period T.Rakauskas  has made a three-pointer and  VEF  was in front only by 1 point  - 73:73.  The hosts continued fought  and just less than 2 minutes left in a game had 1 point lead - 77:76.   But in the last minutes Nevezis could not make shots.
A.Renfroe scored very important two-pointer,  later on S.Valters realized one free throw and  the game was finished 77:79 up by VEF .
