During the game Valmiera was leading by 19 points but Estonians managed to come back and intrigue was renewed in the final quarter. However then Valmiera organized a run of 14:0, thus crashing all the Kalev/Cramo hopes for victory. The final result of the game was 91:78 (25:15, 24:25, 21:17, 21:21).

The game started with an offence from the side of Kalev/Cramo as Dorbek and Keerles made the result 0:5. Further on after a three pointer by Kaufmanis Valmiera equalized the game 7:7. Then Kalev/Cramo got a lead of 9:13 but then Valmiera organized a run 11:0 and got a significant lead 20:13. Till the end of the quarter team Valmiera managed to even increase their lead. The result of the first quarter was 25:15 in the favour of Latvian team.
A successful play in the beginning of the second quarter ensured a lead of plus 16 points for team Valmiera. Further on Valmiera continued to play very well and after a five minutes of play in the second quarter the result was 42:23 Valmiera being ahead. Further on with the help of three point shots Kalev/Cramo came back in the game. Akognon realized two and Keerles added one more. So, one minute to play in the first half of the game and the result was 44:38 Valmiera still ahead. The last minute was played better by team Valmiera and they kept a lead of nine points 49:40.
After the big break Valmiera took the game in their hands and increased the difference in the result. After Virsis Lay-up it was 61:44. Then Kalev/Cramo regained a few points but Valmiera still kept controlling the game. Valmiera managed to hold the lead of 17 points righ before the final ten minutes as the result was 70:57.
The final quarter started with the points for Estonians as they diminished the difference in the result till six points and further on till five points. It looked like the intrigue is back but this was not the case as Valmiera again showed the character and made a run of 14:0 in this was killing all the effort of Estonians. Less than two minutes till the end of the game the result was 89:70 in the favour of the hosts team Valmiera. The last two minutes was played productively by team Kalev/Cramo but that was it – the winner was decide already before that. Valmiera celebrated a victory with the result 91:78.
