Zalgiris had a difficult game with Nevezis, but this game ended  with a good scenario. Kaunas team was stronger in the last minutes and won the game 80:74.

Zalgiris: T.Klimavicius 20 (10 rebs.), A.Capin 16, M.Delas 12, M.Pocius 11 points.
Nevezis: R.Alijevas (5 asists), D.Gvezdauskas (7 rebs.)  - 17, E.Dimsa 12 (6 rebs.), G.Maciulevicius 9.

The game started for Zalgiris better. The hosts has made a run and was in a front by 8 points (10:2).Zalgiris players were more accurate and demonstrated, what they are very angry after yesterday loss in the Lithuania Basketball league game against Perlas team (15:5).  But later the guests were more aggresive in  the offense and the result was almost even after  the first quarter  - 16:12.    

In the second quarter Nevezis showed a big desire to win. The guests has made a run 5-0 and  overbalanced the score in their favor (16:17). So, Zalgiris seemed very slow on the court, because Nevezis scored couple points and retained the advantage (26:33). Just at the end of this quarter Zalgiris forward Mario Delas scored a 3 points shot and the result was not so  bad for the hosts  (33:28).

After big break the game between both teams was even, but Nevezis  had the small advantage for a long time in the third quarter. The difference was around by 4 points. When one minute was left, after A.Capin 3 points shot, the result was even (44:44).  But not for long.  Nevezis, with a good performance of R.Alijevas, retained their advantage (50:53).

In the first minutes of the last quarter A.Capin scored 3 points shot and after big pause Zalgiris was in front again 58:55.  But it was not the end. Nevezis showed character and did not want to give up without a fight. So, after couple minutes the result was good fot the guests (60:63).
Still, Zalgiris retained more strenght and with the help of a good teamwork defended  their honor.
