SEB bank in cooperation with the Baltic Basketball League already the fourth year are carrying out the project “Triple Effect”, which means that during the season every Latvian basketball players` successful 3 point shot is counted and before the next season starts SEB bank in Latvia converts the number of the 3-pointers in terms of money and donates it to the charity organization.

 

During the season 2009/2010 the Latvian basketball players have been active and they have collected 1710 EUR.

MasterCard BBL the most accurate 3 point shooters between the players of Latvian team were Dairis Bertans from BC “Ventspils”, who managed to make 42 shots, Ingus Bankevics from BC “VEF Riga” - 36 three point shots, Sandis Valters (BC “VEF Riga”) and Daviin Davis (BC “Valmiera”) – each by 28 shots.

Same as the last year, Euros that players have earned are donated to Latvian SOS Children village association. This year donation is going to Valmiera - to "Sports ground of Friendship".
