Entertaining game and intrigue until final siren - so lovely was the BBL Cup final game in Kaunas (09.26) between Zalgiris Kaunas and Lietuvos rytas Vilnius. BBL vice-champions after big fight has won the battle and first tittle in this season by Zalgiris.

Today, on September the 8th, the BBL Board approved the 4th basketball club from Latvia. It is BC “Liepajas Lauvas”.

10 teams will take part in BBL Elite division 2009/2010
Today, on August the 25th, BBL Steering Committee has come to a decision that BBL Elite Division in 2009/2010 season will consist of 10 basketball clubs from the Baltic States.
