After a slow start Dolphins moved on and increased their speed to defeat Rudupis with an impressive 40 points lead. The final result of the game was 107:72 (29:17, 29:17, 27:18, 22:20) and the two game cumulative result was 184:159 – Dolphins being victorious.

At the beginning the game was equal and the result grew point in point. After four minutes of playing it was 13:11 in the favour of team Dolphins. Next on it all turned into Dolphins side and they dominated the rest of the first quarter. The result after the first ten minutes of the game was 29:17 - the hosts Dolphins being ahead.
In the second quarter Rudupis did not find arguments against Dolphins and it was already plus twenty to Dolphins – 42:22. Rudupis had lost their lead after the first game (in the first game Rudupis was better 87:77). Further on Dolphins controlled the game and did not let Rudupis to decrease the difference in the result. Before the big break the result was 58:34 – Dolphins leading the game.
In the second half of the game the situation on the field did not change and Dolphins impressively continued to play their game. At one point in the third quarter the lead of Dolphins was already more than 30 points – 73:42. But the Swedes did not stop – before the final ten minutes it was 85:52 in their favour.
The final ten minutes started with a run by Dolphins and the Swedes increased their lead till plus 39 points. Then Rudupis managed to decrease the lead of Dolphins but it was not for long as Dolphins again quickly scored their shots and got a 40 point lead 104:64. The final result of the game was 107:72.
The overall cumulative result in the final games was 184:159 – Dolphins being the winners. Thus The Swedes ensured the champions title and gold medals in MasterCard BBL Challenge Cup in 2009/2010 season.
